Ludgrove Base Layers for Sport
As from September, we have a new (optional) piece of games kit - a Ludgrove base layer top. These tops have become increasingly popular with the boys and the Ludgrove PlayerLayer tops will be our uniform base layer top.

National Prep Schools Athletics Champions!!
At the National championships in Birmingham on 5th July, Martyn-Hemphill performed really well in difficult windy conditions to come 7th in the high jump.

Cricket Festival Winners 2010
On Monday 5^th July, Ludgrove, Elstree, Cheam and Wellesley House competed in our annual cricket festival at Ludgrove.

Mr Yorston's Internet Talk
We were very lucky to be able to welcome Mr Ian Yorston to the school, who spoke to the top three years about the Internet, social networking sites and innovations in modern technology.

Fathers & Sons Shooting & Cricket
We were blessed with a beautiful day for the Leavers' Day on Sunday and a large number of the top year parents and families enjoyed an excellent day of clay pigeon shooting, cricket and a long lunch.

Essay Competition Winners 2010
Andrew Dalton, author and master at Shrewsbury school, agreed to judge our annual essay competition this year when he came to visit Ludgrove at the start of term.

Sixes' Summer Concert 2010
The annual Sixes Concert was held on Monday 5th July.
There were 22 items ranging from performances on the chanter (bagpipes) through to the ever popular drums and piano pieces.

Leavers' Projects
Since Common Entrance, the top year have spent much of their lesson time completing a projects which required them to make the most of their creative and imaginative skills.

Croquet v Papplewick
On 1st July, the long awaited rematch between these old adversaries finally came to fruition on the 1 year-old lawn beautifully crafted by head groundsman, Richard.

Area Athletics Champions
Competing against 24 other schools at the Area Athletics Championships at Bracknell, all the Ludgrove boys performed really well.

Musical Paintballing
On Thursday 1st July, the chapel choir, band and string ensemble were taken paintballing as a reward for all their efforts and hard work this year.

Mrs Offord's Go Karters
On Tuesday 29th June, Mrs Offord's pupils had a fantastic day at her house making go-karts.

5km Swim for ZAP
On Sunday 20th June, Miss Kerr and several of the boys undertook the mammoth task of swimming 5km in the school pool.
