Introduction

There is a wide range of extra curricular activities for the boys to enjoy throughout the year and these are all arranged and supervised by our staff. We encourage the boys to involve themselves in a variety of activities and to give everything a try.

Parental Involvement
The summer term sees a number of sporting events between parents and boys. They are always fun occasions and are usually preceded by a long picnic, which always gives the boys an advantage!

Extras
There is a variety of extra sports and activities available which are organised on a termly basis.

Thursday Activities
Thursday afternoons are reserved for hobbies and clubs. The afternoon is divided in to two halves, so that the boys can enjoy two different activities.

Trips & Outings

A number of trips and expeditions take place each term and we try to expose the boys to a wide variety of cultural, musical and sporting opportunities.

Drama
Drama at Ludgrove has a high profile and we regard it as an integral part of School life. Quite apart from educational and enjoyment factors, it is well known that acting is a great boost to overall confidence in young people.

Music
In addition to their one academic music lesson per week, over two-thirds of the boys have instrumental lessons and a considerable number learn more than one instrument.
