IVs' Roald Dahl Museum Trip

On Monday all the IVs made their way to Great Missenden to find our more about the life of Roald Dahl.

Having all read ‘Boy’ in their English lessons, it was lovely for the boys to see the book brought to life as they wandered around the museum looking at all the different artefacts, as well as being given the chance to sit in the great Dahl chair.

We also wandered through the town looking at many of the buildings which were important to Dahl and that gave him inspiration for many of his stories. Then the BFG’s giant footsteps lead us to the memorial bench in the churchyard where we were able to see the grave of Roald Dahl and found out why there is nearly always an onion on it.
