Weekend Review 3rd/4th February

What a great weekend we all had!

Beginning with the second round of the Set’s General Knowledge on Friday night - teams from Drake and Haig competed against each other with final scores of D 330, H 210.

After morning lessons on Saturday we had some exciting rugby matches against Cothill and later in the evening the top year enjoyed a social at Downe House.  Sunday letter writing was followed by chapel and an inspiring sermon from Dr Wadham, Housemaster at Sherborne School about happiness.

We had our first Charity concert rehersal for Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo, which is to be performed later this term and after a delicious lunch of roast beef and Yorkshire puddings the boys enjoyed their free time.  They swam, played pool and ping pong, brushed up their rugby skills, enjoyed a few movies, played Laser Tag in the Sports Hall and made lots of mess and pots in Pottery.
