		<item>	<title><![CDATA[ Part Time Seamstress ]]></title>
	<link>https://www.ludgrove.net/news/?pid=2&amp;nid=2&amp;storyid=617</link>	<description><![CDATA[<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm">We have an opening for a Part Time Seamstress to join our pastoral team in September 2026, or earlier if available.&nbsp; The role will involve working with fabrics and materials to create, repair and alter garments and other items.</p>

<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm">Flexibility in hours and days is essential as the seamstress hours will vary throughout the term to accommodate school plays.&nbsp; Ideally the hours for this role will be 3 days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30am &ndash; 12.30pm term time only, but the school will consider other variations for the right candidate.&nbsp;&nbsp; Additional hours (including some weekends and evenings) will be essential to support the success of the school performances normally towards the end of the terms.</p>

</item><item>	<title><![CDATA[ Gap Year Students - Closed for 2027 intake ]]></title>
	<link>https://www.ludgrove.net/news/?pid=2&amp;nid=2&amp;storyid=599</link>	<description><![CDATA[<p>Each year Ludgrove appoints gappers, young people who are taking a year off between school and university, one of which is often an Old Ludgrovian.&nbsp; A mix of boys and girls, they work a 12-month placement beginning in January and all applicants must be 18 years old when they arrive at Ludgrove.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Gappers play an integral part in the school community, supporting all staff in the care of the boys, through a variety of roles and responsibilities, with no two days being the same.&nbsp; You will spend time on the games pitches, in the classroom, supervising activities and meals, helping with laundry and boarding duties and will also be involved with the preparation of special events such as school plays, concerts and Sports Day.</p>
