At Ludgrove we never think of ourselves as ‘small’ but rather that we are perfectly formed to give each boy the individual care and encouragement needed to prepare them for the next step of their educational journey, both academically and personally.

Having a focused School community also means the ‘little things’ are not overlooked: a seamstress is here to mend a teddy’s ear; Mrs Barber reads bedtime stories to the youngest boys; TV nights with hot chocolate and cuddles with the House Parents’ dogs; and family-style meals with a member of staff serving home cooked food and chatting, just like they would enjoy at home.

We are honoured to have made it to the finals of the ISOTY awards, especially in a category with some of the country’s most highly acclaimed small schools. Good luck to all of this year’s finalists and fingers crossed for the announcement on 14th October.
