Could you be the caring, calm and organised adult who helps our boys feel at home?
Ludgrove School is looking for a Resident School Matron to join our friendly boarding team. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of boarding life, supporting pupils' wellbeing, health and happiness while helping to create a warm, safe and nurturing environment.
You will build positive relationships with the boys, support their day-to-day care, work closely with our School Nurse and boarding staff, and play an important part in ensuring every pupil thrives both personally and academically.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children or young people.
* Is caring, approachable and enjoys building positive relationships.
* Has strong organisational and communication skills.
* Can promote high standards of wellbeing, behaviour and personal presentation.
* Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
* Is willing to contribute to the wider life of a busy boarding school.
Previous boarding experience, safeguarding training and a First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
