On Friday 4th May, six boys – Benedict Evans-Freke, Eddie Bentley, Aubrey Challinor, Barnaby Hewetson, Majid Al Mutawaa and Edward Wilson represented Ludgrove at the IAPS Prep Schools’ Annual Shooting tournament at the West London Shooting School.
On Friday there was a IIs' production of Carlo Goldini’s famous comedy The Servant of Two Masters. The play, a classic piece of Commedia del’ Arte, revolves around a greedy and lazy servant who manages to find himself in the employ of two masters.
Over the weekend, a group of boys spent time in the DT department building air-powered boats and on Tuesday the time came to test and race them in the swimming pool.
There was much excitement amongst the boys - and several staff - when firefighters from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service visited to talk to a group of the IVs & VIs.
The glorious weather certainly helped us all enjoy the first weekend of term. With the nets up and grass freshly mown, the boys were able to fine-tune their cricket skills and Chapel Ground was awash with happy boys.
