'Thank you for the music!'

The School community came together to ‘Hear the people sing’ at Ludgrove’s Charity Concert in aid of Home Start Wokingham.

A choir made up of parents, staff and Chapel Choir took to the stage to perform a medley of songs from Mamma Mia! and Les Misérables. The concert also highlighted the incredible talents of our senior musicians (to be showcased in a separate post).

The Concert was also the perfect opportunity for our advanced musicians to take centre stage and show the School community their amazing talents.

They performed with such confidence and aplomb that it is easy to forget that some of these boys are only in the IIIs (Year 6), going through to the Top Year (Year 8). It is clear to see the musical future at Ludgrove is bright with these stars in our midst.

The afternoon was a huge success thanks to Mr Murtagh, Head of Music, and his department. ‘Thank you for the music’ Sir, ‘At the end of the day’ we were all ‘Dancing Queens’!
