Visiting Bagpipe Teacher
Links in this sectionOur current Bagpipe Teacher is retiring at the end of this academic year, which leaves an opening for someone new to join our Visiting Music Teacher (VMT) team from September 2026.
The successful Bagpipe teacher will provide high‑quality instruction to students of varying ages (year 4 - 8) and ability levels. The ideal candidate will be passionate about traditional Scottish music, experienced in performance and tutoring, and able to inspire learners through engaging and supportive teaching.
Full details of the role can be found below. The number of lessons available each term is determined by the demand for bagpipe lessons, so please include your availability on your application.
