Heads Up Challenge

Links in this section

Mr Barber joined 20 other prep school headmasters for an epic Heads Up Challenge to raise money for the Place2Be charity which helps improve the mental wellbeing and prospects of children, their families and school communities across the UK.

On Tuesday 27th August, the intrepid fund raising team rose before dawn to start the first leg of a marathon 65-mile adventure which included a 3 mile sea kayak, followed by a 50 mile bike ride and finishing with a 12 mile hike, all in the rugged Welsh landscape. The team finally finished happy but exhausted at 9pm.

So far, the lycra-clad Heads Up group has raised over £83,000 but the aim is to hit £100,000. To make a donation for this very worthy cause please click on to: and then scroll down to the Ludgrove section.
