Volunteers including Mrs Barber and her daughter, Emily, the Bursar and furloughed kitchen and pantry staff, nurses and matrons, have taken on the mammoth task to cook and deliver 160 lunches, twice a week, to local school children and their families who are currently experiencing difficulties.

The scheme is a partnership with the Grub Club working with Wokingham Borough Council.

The first week sees traditional favourites of Shepherd's Pie and Sausage Stew on the menu with more on offer in coming weeks. 

The school is happy to help its neighbours and pleased that they are able to sample the delights of Ludgrove's cooking!
