Autumn Concert
Links in this sectionThe highlight of the Music Department’s Michaelmas Term is the Autumn Concert which took place last night in the Theatre. We have over 140 boys currently taking Music at Ludgrove and were delighted that 64 boys were individually performing, either a solo performance or in an ensemble piece. For the first time in a wee while, we had the Pipe ensemble out, it was a joy to hear those pipes echoing around in a flawless performance of all our favourites, including Amazing Grace. There were some outstanding piano performances and the whole school performed ‘Sing’, a tune that was composed by Gary Barlow for the Queens Diamond Jubilee, with 4 boys, who had been picked right at the last minute, singing heartwarming individual solos - well done chaps!! And who could forget the flashing red lights, in a darkened Theatre, of the noisy, enthusiastic, Drum Group! We will definitely be doing that again. Roll on the Spring Concert! Photos here
