Ludgrove School

Act of Remembrance 2019

Links in this section

Shortly before 11 am, the school gathered in the quad for the annual Act of Remembrance.

Names of all the Wixenford and Ludgrove old boys who died fighting in both world wars were read aloud by Mr Barber before the minute's silence was confidently trumpeted in and out by Tom.

Lochie read 'In Flanders Fields' and then the school filed round to the chapel where William placed the poppy wreath at the alter.

The whole school gathered to pay their respects during the moving ceremony. Well done to the boys for their respectful behaviour throughout.
