The VIs visited Savill Gardens today and spent a pleasant few hours sketching and enjoying a picnic lunch. When the short but torrential down pour arrived half way through lunch, we sought shelter underneath one of the large oak trees nearby.
Last week, the leavers had a terrific trip to Dartmoor. With the weather being so exceptional the boys made the most of the rivers and dams, swimming and camping outdoors and making the most of their final weeks together.
Making the most of the extraordinary weather, we have all enjoyed a couple of BBQ lunches in the garden this week. Nothing quite beats a burger, sausage and ice cream in the sunshine.
This morning all the IVs walked over to Gray’s Farm to link in with their studies in Geography. We learnt how Mr Gray looks after all the fruit and vegetables on his farm.
Once again, we are thrilled to announce that our entire top year has successfully passed Common Entrance into their chosen public schools, with over 80% going onto Eton, Harrow, Radley and Winchester.
The boys enjoyed a glorious weekend full of cricket matches, putting in the garden, crazy golf on the top law and much more, including free swims to cool everyone down, art and carpentry, packing for the leavers trip and a film or two.
